--- LEISURES AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES
  • In the village

    • 500 meters from our homeis the lake of Fossemagne. Take advantage of sunny weather to enjoy the sandy beach, the pedalos and other water activities.

  • Walks

    • For those who enjoy walking, there are many footpaths nearby. The forest of Barade (Jacquou Le Croquant country) can be seen from the house.
    The GR36 (hiking path) is just 5 km far from the house.

  • Aquarium

    • The aquarium at Le Bugue is about half an hour drive away.

  • Sports

    • In about 20 minutes by car, you can be at the Vezere river for canoeing or kayaking, and at the golf course of Mortemart (18 holes).

    There is tennis and horse riding nearby and we can borrow bicycles.

    In less than 30 km, you have:
  • Ruins of the castle of Herm,
  • Rouffignac and its caves,
  • Montignac and caves of Lascaux,
  • The castle of Hautefort and its splendid gardens,
  • The castle of Losse, which overhangs the Vézère,
  • Les Eyzies de Tayac and "l'abri Pataud", "la grotte du grand Roc", ...
  • Les Eyzies de Tayac and the international museum of Prehistory
  • The village troglodytic of "La Madeleine",
  • The old town of Périgueux (and the basilica Saint Front)


    • And obviously, little further, Sarlat (45 minutes) and all sites of the valley of the Dordogne (Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Domme, castles of Milandes, Fenelon, Castelnaud, the gardens of the manor of Eyrignac...)
