Who are we ?
And by the way, who is hiding behind the Chambres de Bonneval?
So here we are: Emmanuelle and Regis, early fifties who have been living in Dordogne for almost 20 years. Nature and wide open spaces land lovers, fond of the serenity and simplicity of countryside life, we are gradually taking root in Perigord.
We love to walk in the forest with our dogs (in summer, we often come back with mushrooms…), and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
Nothing pleases us more than sharing our little corner of paradise and the many positive feedback we have from our guests have confirmed this is the way to go.
Otherwise, we are also gourmets and good wines lovers, and by the way, we have several nice addresses if you like!

The history of the Chambres de Bonneval
We settled in the Dordogne in 2003, with already in mind the project of opening our guest house. Being 30 years old, it was (already!) time for us to leave the city life behind and find a more balanced life in a preserved environment.
No sense to hide it we have visited many houses all over the Perigord before finding our paradise! This allowed us to
crisscross the region up and down and finally fell in love with this superb stone farmhouse from 1783 and its tree-lined environnement.
We opened our first bed and breakfast, the Pecharmant room, in the summer of 2003 (no time to lose!).
The following year, 4 months of work later, our Montravel and Monbazillac rooms were opened.
Lovers of (good) wines, we have chosen Bergerac appellations to name our guest rooms.
